Great suggestion from one of my newbies to post the titles of the books I would like picked up for each concert band student.  I added some other stuff too, in order that this might be more comprehensive.  The band's version of the famed "School Supplies List."  Please let me know if you don't know where to get any of the following items:

  • Book: "Foundations for Superior Performance," by Williams & King
  • Book: "Bach and Before for Band," by David Newell
  • Pencils (no pens) for marking music and completing written work
  • An open mind and a willingness to try
