Plans for Mad Week 2008

We will work with an organization called Operation Classroom to build the Heritage School of Kabala.

WHAT

Raising $17,500 to pay for half of a new school in Sierra Leone. With the possibility of internet access at this school, the Heritage School of Kabala could become our "sister school," and students here could communicate directly with students there.

WHEN

Monday, April 28 - Saturday, May 3

WHERE

 Kabala, Sierra Leone

(where the literacy rate is less than 33%)

WHY

To provide education for people living lives of subsistence with no real hope for a brighter future. Because education is the key to strengthening societies and individuals. To MAKE A DIFFERENCE in the world!

HOWBy Heritage community involvement. We need you to donate. Contribute by coming to the events, giving money to your advisory teacher, or by making a check out to Operation Classroom and bringing it to the front office of Heritage High School.
