Summer Tech Academy - Come to our week-long technology workshop this June and learn about how you can incorporate services like blogs, wikis, Audacity, PhotoStory, iGoogle, RSS feeds, podcasts, Skype, Google Docs and Spreadsheets, United Streaming, and much, much more into your classes.The workshop will run from May 31-June 4 from 8-1 p.m. in the library computer lab and will offer instruction by Mike Porter, Heidi Dudley and Diane Frank and include a lot of time to get real, hands-on practice with the technology. We welcome teachers of all levels -- whether you are a first-time learner or an intermediate user who needs a little refresher. Sign up will begin in May.
ISTE not TIE Conference- The ISTE (International Society of Technology) will be in Denver at the convention center June 27-30, 2010. TIE (Technology in Education) will not be held this summer because of ISTE (TIE is usually held in June at Copper Mountain). LPS will be offering 75 scholarships to the ISTE conference so keep you eyes open for this opportunity if you would like to attend.

Learning 2.0 - A Colorado Conversation - This one-day workshop on February 21, 2009 was hosted this year at Heritage High School and featured several workshops that focused on Web 2.0 and 21st Century Learning.
